This is an exciting opportunity to join the Military Engines Sustainment Operations organization, which provides technical and logistic products and services to the worldwide propulsion fleet across the globe and be a part of a team that is setting up worldwide capabilities for the Warfighter.

The Global Site Activation (GSA) team is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Update (MRO&U) Depot Equipment Assurance Manager for the F135 and new engine programs. This includes initial and full capabilities for all U.S. and international MRO&U depots, as well Final Assembly & Check Out (FACO) centers. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure and experience across a wide variety of disciplines and organizations, while developing leadership skills and contributing to deliver critical capability to the War Fighter.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee on-time delivery and operational integration of all support tooling (SE), PHS&T and industrial equipment (IPE) required to establish a depot facility capable of providing maintenance, repair, overhaul, and warehouse services for the F135.

+ Act as the primary GSA liaison to key stakeholders Military Customer Support & Services (MCSS), Global Sustainment Services' Procurement and Delivery Assurance, and Sustainment Operations, for all activation SE / IPE requirements and deployments.

+ Closely collaborate with GSA program managers, to manage the entire SE/IPE value stream from initial requirements and procurement planning, supplier delivery, to depot receipt and technical readiness deployment.

+ Provide project management support for operations related equipment development, enhancements and/or quality resolutions to ensure sustained operational capability.

+ Produce and maintain standard work for all respective GSA procedures and ensure integration among all value stream stakeholders.

+ Travel Requirements, 20%-30%, all international locations

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree required.

+ A minimum of 8 + years of experience in aerospace operations and/or aviation maintenance.

+ At least 3 years of demonstrated proficiency in materials or supply chain management, support equipment management, and/or operations / industrial project management in the aerospace industry is required.

+ US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

+ Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance for compliance to US DoD security regulations is required.

+ Travel Requirements, 20%-30%, all international locations

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Direct experience in a gas turbine maintenance facility, and/or supporting its activation.

+ Familiarity with military contracts, and organizations such as JSF Joint Program Office and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).

+ Ability to quickly understand, interpret and communicate technical and facility requirements.

+ Proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP familiarity, and ability to quickly become adept in computer applications.

+ Ability to support a fast paced, dynamic, complex, and results-based environment.

+ Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational / time management skills, and self-initiative; and demonstrated ability to lead others, deliver timely results and effectively interface at all organizational levels.

+ A working knowledge of Lean operating system(s) and continuous improvement tools (e.g., CORE, ACE, Six Sigma).
