Identify songs playing around you

On your Android device, tap and hold the Home button or say "Hey Google." Ask "What's this song?" Play a song or hum, whistle, or sing the melody of a song. Play a song: With Google Assistant, you can name the song.

Open the Google app or visit the Google search website. Click or tap on the microphone icon to start a voice search. Hum, sing, or whistle the tune of the song you're trying to identify. Wait for Google to process the audio and analyze the melody.

You can also open Shazam from the notification screen on Android. Swipe down from the top of the screen to see your notifications. Tap the one for Shazam and tap the Shazam icon to identify any song that is currently playing.

Use the Google app or widget to find a song
