Givealittle charge a 5% (including GST) service fee based on the amount raised, which is deducted when funds are paid out.
The 5% service fee is to cover Givealittle's running costs such as transaction fees and website hosting costs as well as customer service, website development, security and compliance. The fee allows us to balance our primary goal of facilitating generosity while ensuring Givealittle is sustainable as a charity.
Donors do not pay any fees, but have the option to cover some or all of the 5% fundraiser fee via a voluntary “Top-up” donation which gets deducted from the fee owed - so the fee deducted at the time of payment is often lower than 5%. (Givealittle does not take any fee from the "Top-up" donation).
Payees are sent a breakdown of their payment automatically from Givealittle, which details the fee charged but if you have any questions about what you see, please get in touch .
