So as soon as you walk in, you are greeted by my beautiful foyer and all of this was recently renovated. So i got to bring you first to the custom porcelain mosaic tile that i had imported from spain on the ceilings and then coming down. This is a very exclusive collection. It's called the homemade dupont collection of tile.
This is throughout the entire office area. It's really just a highlight of the entire shop. To be honest with you, i love it. I love it and this is a picture window.
You guys know i like little custom touches. This was imported from a movie theater built in the 1920s, from a small town in georgia, the country not the state. So this is where all the business transactions are gon na happen. Big checks and sponsorship deals rolling through there and then we have the custom doorbell, ringer yeah sounds so good and then moving along come on come on.
This would have normally been like a customer lounge area, but i'm not gon na have any customers. So i made it into a man cave so check this out. You got ta, go big or go home, so i went with the 100 inch o l v e d flat screen tv can't see no wires flush mounted exactly the way i like it and then just in case. We have long nights at the shop where i don't really feel like driving home, and i want to go to sleep.
I got the pull out sleeper couch right here. This is one of the most comfortable couches. I've ever been in. It turns out into a huge bed, so when all my youtuber friends come and visit me for projects and whatnot salmon rich this, this is where you could be staying now through.
Here is my editing, suite and in case i want to feel like part of the party if everybody's hanging out here in the lounge i put a window here. So i can open and close this thing kind of say, what's up to everybody, make sure they're having a good time and listen to this positive engagement right there. This is a very good quality window and every once in a while, i might need you know a little refreshment passed my way. So, of course, i had the custom espresso machine installed.
This actually gets filled daily and uh. It's just it's non-stop. It never ends with the espresso around here. What are you waiting for come on in the office? Oh, hey! Sorry! I am constantly editing.
I have to use every minute in the day to get these videos out and i'm working on my latest one. I will show you guys my setup here in a minute: if you're, not too computer savvy, you may not be able to keep up with the specs of this bad boy, but sometimes in the middle of editing for hours. These are dual 32 inch crystal olv, dxq9 screens and, quite literally, the brain of this whole system is right here.

All right, let me show you guys what's in here. This is actually a refrigerator. I had a custom fridge made to look just like a cabinet, but after a long day of work, i do like a cold refreshment and being the man that i am. I like the hard stuff all right.
So this is my lineup right here. Everything you'd expect for someone who likes a strong, a stiff, drink and hang on a second. This is going to be the only serious part of this video. This sparkling water is disgusting, do not buy this.
It's really bad. Here is my fridge tour. I only keep the essentials, and this is the office guys. This is my home away from home.
I'm gon na be spending a ton of time in here when i'm not out in the shop. So, of course, i had to upgrade all the switches here in the office, so i went with the custom flush mount switch, and this is a bright white switch with an off-white trim panel, and it gives a little bit of contrast, kind of makes it pop, which I really really like so let's go on into the hallway and i had done a little bit of custom artwork, so i'm actually an amateur painter and uh. So these are just some of my highlights of my youtube career, and this is when my buddy rich rebuilds. He came in to chicago and we fixed up my tesla and he actually signed it too.
So uh this is the tesla after it was all done. You know obviously, and uh yeah. There's me there's ridge. It was a really good time, thanks rich for helping me out with the tesla.I love that car and next up is me and sam crack. So this is me, of course, and sam's been here a few times to chicago to help work on projects, and i remember the first time he came to town. I got him a lou malnati's pizza because that's my favorite food and then he said i love pizza and we ate the pizza. It was really really cool and uh and then sam signed it with an s so he's very efficient.
He doesn't even write the whole thing: it's just it's just the s, so hopefully sam will be back in this area soon and we can work on stuff in the garage. It was a great time, sam there's, another lose waiting for you next time, buddy and then moving on. We have one of my oldest youtube friends, which is matt from warped perception, we've known each other for probably 20 years, and you guys may know matt from his see-through engine series. So i drew a picture.
This is matt uh. This is me, and this is one of his see-through engines - you see the pistons right here and then he also did a see-through rotary engine, which is obviously this one here so me and matt. We have a lot in store for this year. We're going to be doing some experiments together, so i may even draw you know some more murals with matt because of all the cool projects that he's working on.
So as i continue with my youtube career and my hobby as an artist i'll, add more to this wall um so anyway, just something i'm really really proud of uh. But let's move on. Let's move on down the hallway uh to one of two bathrooms: yes, yes, you heard that correctly. I have two bathrooms, so this is kind of my pride and joy right here i really enjoy being in this bathroom um.
It's really really nice. So don't be shy. Don't be shy, come on in the bathroom, so we have, of course, the custom porcelain from portugal just like the the tiles and the ceiling. This is a diamond plated, faucet! Listen to that! It just shuts the water right off.
It's amazing and of course we have the toilet. We just i just set up at the perfect height. I absolutely love the toilet and uh yeah. We got some napkins here in case you know you're having a little bit of a rough go at it or we have the very soft double triple pleated, uh bounty tissue paper, so great bathroom, real high ceilings, and now we get to go out to the shop And we can go this way.
Let me give you a little little sneak peek. Oh that's my that's my android. She talks and tells me when the doors open, yeah i'll, give you a sneak peek, but i really want to bring you into the shop through the big door in the front. So i'll beat you over there.Let me bring you into the shop and show you whoa almost bit it there. This is it guys this is my shop welcome. This is where i'm gon na be spending a ton of time working on cars, bringing you guys, videos and we'll just start right off here in the wash area. So this actually used to be a detail shop, and so it has a triple basin drain system.
So we have our drain right. Here we can wash cars, we can squeegee all the water down there, it'll separate out all the dirt and crud from the roads, so we're being environmentally friendly and come on. You got to keep up. You got to keep up over here.
We got my custom pressure washer, so we can really blast these cars clean, oh yeah. I can't get enough of that thing and we have our soap dispenser right here: uh streamline and uh yeah. We have some car soaps. 55.
Gallon drums of car soaps that were left here as part of the deal - i guess all right. Okay, this thing needs way better brakes. So right here is where i'll be hanging up the pressure, washer and i'll. Have it on this little zip line here.
So it just stays nice and tucked out of the way - and this is enough room to park two cars. So when i'm not washing cars, i can have two cars here that are either just being stored or that i'm working on oh yeah got ta warm up. The tires for the rest of this thing, otherwise she doesn't get the best traction. Oh, this is dangerous.
Okay, you know. Sometimes i don't know if i can handle this bad boy uh, but this is the rest of the shop all right. So when you pull in and you pass the wash bay you're coming down this aisle right here and then there will be a big garage door and overhead door, that's getting cut into the wall and that's gon na go, bring you out to the parking lot which I'll show you here in a moment, so we're gon na be cutting out the service door, moving that over big garage door there and lifts two lifts this time: a lift right here, lifting up my red ferrari and another lift right here, lifting up the blue corvette. So this way, if i have a car like my v12 mercedes project, that's broken in a million pieces, i'm not dead in the water.
I can keep on working on another project. Keep on making videos right now with my home garage, i'm just i'm maxed out a max out. So aside from having the cars on the lifts in this area right here, we have some really good room to work on two cars. So i'm thinking you could probably even fit three in here, but if you really wanted to work on two with the doors open, this whole area right here is perfect for that, so in total we could do two cars here.
Two on the lifts: two in the wash bay detailing area and then for storage purposes. We could fit another two in this aisle, so we can fit a total of eight and that's not including cars that are parked under the lift. So really, i could store up to 10 cars in my garage, that's huge for me and being a guy from chicago. That is a big deal.I know you country guys have pole barns galore, where this is actually small for you guys. But for me this is huge. Now you know i got ta up my toolbox game, so we have the gigantic toolbox right here with every tool you could ever imagine at your disposal. So there's not going to be anything.
I can't fix in the legit street quarters garage now this 80 gallon bell. Air compressor came with the place. It is broken, so we will be fixing this compressor in a future video it turns on, but it leaks air everywhere. It's only five years old made in italy, but this is really nice and we have it piped throughout the shop.
So we have fittings right here, so you can plug in your air hose right along this wall. We can even add another one over here. If we want to got one here got one there, we got one everywhere so not that we use too many air tools anymore these days, but if we wanted to, we could so something else i'm definitely not used to is not only does this shop have heat, But it has air conditioning as well, so the entire office is air-conditioned and the shop is air-conditioned, which means i can work on cars year-round, no matter what. So, even though i have a decent amount of floor space here for someone from the big city, i need storage.
You got to have somewhere to store all the wheels and all the extra parts that you're pretty much never going to use. So above the office. We have a ton of storage and i've never actually walked up there. I kind of had a ladder during the inspection, so i took a look but we're gon na go up there right now on the ladder and see what's been left because the detail shop, that was here, they left a bunch of other stuff here in the shop.
So i don't know: what's going on up there, all right give me that all right here we go going up to my abandoned storage and yeah when i got up here last time just to take a peek. I noticed it probably never been cleaned before. So we have our mechanicals, our hot water, heater uh, the ducting and everything these air ducts are quite disgusting and what's cool is we do have some shelves up here, uh for storage and they left a lot of stuff. This is crazy.
I'm gon na assume everything here is junk or they would have taken it, but we have more cleaning supplies awesome. We have another reel for the air hose right here, which i probably will not use, and what is this? What is going on? This is a dewalt. Oh man, nice nice, the remnants of a detail shop. This is sweet.
We had a couple fire extinguishers, another dewalt, no way. I wonder if these work, i'm not sure how old this is or if it works, but we're definitely going to check it out. We have a couple sets of jumper cables, a tire inflator, a bunch of paperwork. Let's see this is nuts.We have a stash of dewalt polishers and what are these guys here, chicago electric harbor freight right here, harbor freight baby? Unbelievable i mean. Can these all not work? I mean what are the chances of that we got a gas can and look at this. We have some porter cable, random, orbital, polishers a whole lot of them awesome. This is so cool all right.
We got ta find an outlet all right, so we're gon na bring a couple of these guys down and plug them in. But here is a good look at the storage up here and you can definitely stand up tall. There is plenty of room, so this is a really really nice little bonus here, perfect for parts and tools that i'm not using all the time or i could put a nice floor down and kind of turn this into a sweet little secondary man cave. I don't know so i believe this is only five years old.
The water heater is only five years old. There is the old water heater right over there and i had all this stuff inspected and although it looks kind of dirty and a little ratty, all the mechanicals in the shop, they work. Fine and here is a little overview from above. So it is 30 feet wide, and this area here is 66 feet.
So from this little storage wall all the way there is 66 feet, the entire building from this wall. All the way to the overhead door in the front is 100 feet so 100 by 33 000 square feet is what i picked up here for the legit street quarters oh and check it out. I have two skylights one here and one over there that you can't really see and we have to do a lot of cleaning. There is a ton of dust and just nastiness and i may paint the ceilings black.
I think that would look really cool and in case i run into trouble. We got batman all right, let's see if two out of the roughly 15, that we have work and so far now that doesn't work. Let's see now, how come on really do these things really go bad. This was owned by miguel miguel.
What happened, what did you do to this dewalt polisher, i'm gon na assume they're all broken. I mean. Why would the guy leave these things if they weren't, but unless there's some kind of warranty - maybe i don't know i do have a washer and dryer. This was a detail shop after all and we have a slop sink right here.
These are just some extra air filters that i'll be using, so i can wash up here - and this has a separate shop bathroom, although it's not as nice as the other one. This is definitely a shop bathroom. It needs a major cleaning. I do have some of that extra tile from homemade depaul, so i can kind of blend that in and i can spiff this bathroom up as well, but for now it works.
I'm a mechanic. I've seen way worse all right. Let's go check out the back lot. Where i have six parking spots, we'll take the scooter and we're here.This thing is really quick up to 19 miles an hour on this guy all right i'll park this one here, you guys remember my old white escalade. You thought it was gone in no way. So not only can i fit about eight to ten cars in the shop. I can't believe i'm saying that that is so cool, but i also have six parking spots outside in my parking lot.
Uh so there'll be four along in this area right here and then two behind the camera, lady and the big reason i'm having this wall cut out for an overhead door is so that we can push disabled cars right out into the parking lot. So if i'm waiting on parts or whatever they're not taking up space in the shop, so we can just push them out here and and just let them rot forever and ever and ever and there you have it the legit street quarters.
